Christmas

I have many traditions for christmas.
On Christmas Eve, we go to our friends and "attempt" to make gingerbread houses. We also exchange gifts.
On Christmas day, we run to the christmas tree and open all our gifts. We usually invite a family over for Christmas lunch, since we don't have any family who live in NZ. 
This year on boxing day, we are flying to the south island and going to Hanmer springs. We are staying for 5 nights.

Kitty Corliss "Grinding the Crack"

Year 8

I'm really looking forward to year 8 because there are lots of privileges and extra activities we get to do. An example of the privileges are that we get to sit on the chairs at assembly. The bonus activities are year 8 assembly, leavers dinner, and many more. One of the things i am worried about is that it's my last year of primary school and I'm scared of the thought of college being so close. 

Dinosaur day

Today at school we had dinosaur day! We spent our whole day researching dinosaurs and using the information to make a short film. Aisling, Samantha, Aimee, Maricar and I were put into a group together for the film. We had loads of fun, Aisling was the performer/talking guy, Aimee (a.k.a Gerald) was the camera 'man', Samantha and Maricar were the set designers and I was the dinosaur controller and researcher. When we put our film together, we added our bloopers to the end. The bloopers ended up to be longer then the actual movie! To make it even more fun we were in mufty to raise money for the Philippines.

Guy Fawkes Day

I believe Christmas should be celebrated with fireworks instead of Guy Fawkes day because more people celebrate Christmas. Christmas is celebrated by many different religions. Christmas is also a special day for catholic people because that's when Jesus was born. So as you can see its obvious why Christmas should be celebrated with fireworks in stead of Guy Fawkes day.

My Future Job

When I grow up, I would like to be a graphic designer! Because I'd like to see myself designing things like the front cover of books or t-shirts for different companies. In collage I think I would take an art and information technology (I.T). Outside school I would take up activities such as art classes.
